A little about me.

🎃 I am an extremely lonely writer in Portland, OR. One of those "Halloween people" who takes walks at night and keeps all her screens dim. Dark themes and dark stories tend to captivate me -- but then, so does comedy. When I'm not crying about The Phantom of the Opera, I'm singing tons of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend songs, word for word.

☕ I have been on-and-off obsessed with a 90's kids show called Adventures in Wonderland, which is totally not dark or creepy, but it's been a love of mine for over ten years, so I have amassed lengthy fanfictions, fanart, fan-podcasts, and even cosplay for it. Have a look around; it's a whooooole thing. I also ship Hatter/Hare.

🎥 Seems I'm trapped in a time capsule and often think about the past: my 90's childhood, the classic film era, Victorian England, etc. My BA was mostly concerned with silent films - Nos<3 feratu being my favorite. Love me my period dramas too. There are a lot of dead people I wish I could have tea with. I will talk about old stuff with you, any time.

💔 Disillusioned with social media. I thrived well in the Livejournal / DeviantArt era and made most of my friends during those times, but now I'm washed beneath the tide of the algorithms and feel like I'm screaming into space, and that nothing I say or do matters, my experiences don't matter, creation doesn't matter. Dreamwidth in theory is wonderful, but still really difficult to navigate successfully.
