I'm surprised that I enjoy writing for this couple as much as I do! They just have this interesting chemistry of loving each other and being attracted to each other, but they're nothing alike and right now Ellen is mad at him. So far I've made it out as if the one she cares about the most is her cat, which I've named Montgomery. He's a 2-year-old tabby with blue eyes.

Anyway, I really enjoy this. There's nothing stale about it. It's totally fresh, it's totally mine, and I feel like the material I have is going to keep me busy for a while.

Each episode is supposed to be 22 minutes, and that translates to 22 pages, so I'm about a third done with the first episode. It's interesting how this works, because the limit will remind me to tighten up my presentation, instead of stretch on whatever I want for as long as I want, as I would do in a novel. Every scene has got to be crucial to the point.

What's also so different so far is that I don't usually write scripts for dramas, and as Nosferatu in Love is half, or at least a third, drama so far I've done rather serious stuff with just a normal and modest sprinkle of comedy.

I'm keeping it all a secret, as tempting as it is to share.
