Adventures in Wonderland Fanfics 2009-2012
Here is a compilation post of completed* Adventures in Wonderland fanfiction I've written in the last four years.

Why am I making this post? A couple reasons. As long as nobody thinks I'm plugging myself, even at my own writing journal, I'd like to share them with you and implore you to read them with an open mind. No, they have nothing to do with Phantom of the Opera, but they are good examples of my writing when I am not writing about Phantoms. They've always been super close to me, just like He's There, and have fleshed out the goings-on from another area of my imagination, an area that is equally longing and vulnerable, but quite silly.

Trying Tuesday (2012)

A Hatter's Obligation (2011)

That Time of Year (2010)

Us Against the World (2009-2010)

He's Having My Baby (2009)

This is also really the world I'm always wishing to visit; my ideal Wonderland, which I believe can be just as magical and peculiar as any other, it just hasn't been an area that's explored for this particular adaptation. You might find that my Wonderland differs from the show (if you have ever seen it), and characters are not poising or censoring themselves. I like to give them honesty, self-reflection, and even self-parody despite the fact that they're already quite silly. Even their drama is like a page-turning bedtime story for me; there's just something about all of them that brings serene smiles and the most sincere laughter from me. Oh, I'm getting all poetic about it.

TL;DR -- Somehow this show has given me a creative universe that is invaluable to my growth as a writer. It has been even more magical having positive feedback from the actual cast for some of this work, and being in contact with them, which has unexpectedly given me inspiration.

I was just thinking how much I wanted to get on to other projects for it so that I can have enough material for an ebook (a free one.) Jenna wants me to start on The Queen and the Contractor, a story about the Queen and the Walrus having a fling right before Rabbit's eyes, but I still wonder if I want to pick up the notes and excerpts for the hot-tub story and dig in. It probably won't be able to happen until after the New Year (so I'm not accomplishing my goal of writing a new story this year), but at least it's on the horizon, and that makes me feel relieved. All I have to do is think about HT and I get tired. (Bless its heart; I love it, I swear.)

It would mean a lot to me to be sharing these stories with anyone who's interested. A Hatter's Obligation is Christmas related, if that helps in choosing one. I just have to warn you that I ship a same-sex couple (Hatter/Hare) and they sort of hook up in all of these at some point, or already have. ;) The show screams that they have a very special relationship, and it only helps that most of the cast was gay and making H/H jokes during shooting, or so I hear.

♥,
J

*There is a ridiculous amount of plot-bunnies, AIM/Skype stories, and incomplete stuff that I have written that haven't been published yet. Ohhh... obsessions are wonderful, ain't they?
