This is the coolest thing evar!
In one day, two friends expressed interest in cosplaying my story characters.
Do you know how flattering that is? x3 I wish I could hug both of them but one lives in New York, and the other is...in college! *cries*
First Luna/GiAnna, my dear buddy, and also voice actress for Tilly mentioned that she'd like to do a photoshoot as her, and would thus have to make a costume. But she has confidence in getting the outfit together, and it's not a difficult one. --Apparently she has shared with her friends that Tilly is my story character that she really likes and enjoys doing lines for. It goes as far as...whenever she gets bored with a situation, she, and surprisingly well, acts like her. XD I've heard thus far about sitting on the floor, going nuts for strawberries, and shouting optimistically... just.. silly stuff. ^o^; And she's already so cute and little, it works. Anyway, she really flatters me. I never know quite what to say because even though I really like Tilly, she's...well, mine. And I'm self-critical. So to me, it's a cool story that I'm still working out, no more or less. XD;; ya..know? To even be slightly interested in the characters the way she is... just makes me very giddy and gracious, and inspired. Anyway, we'll see where this goes. I don't expect her to do it, like, "Gia you SAID you would, now DO IT, whore!" XD But my God, if she does, I'm going to have a heart attack. XD
Then also, *snickers*, my friend Kim, I'm not sure if any of you know her, she's a friend that had Japanese with me. She's also a great artist, and cosplayer! (And I mean it. There are a lot of cosplayers that just pick the totally wrong characters or just don't do good jobs, but Kim is fantastic at it.) Anyway, she, didn't say she was going to, but said that it sounded like fun to do Akira and that she was interested, so I'm trying to convince her! XD Akira... I don't even know what to say. XD He would be difficult, even while I'm acknowledging her skill level. A nice black vest, slacks, and shoes are feasible, but the tailed jacket seems a bit of a rarity unless she knows a warehouse for orchestra conductors. XD And the shirt...nobody wears stuff like that anymore. XD He's supposed to come from the 1800's, but they usually wore like...sashes around their necks that popped out of their jackets. I have no idea where the courted-ruff type collar is found besides 17th century collars like the Crystal King's, but obviously one is small and the other is gigantic. Crystal Palace is really messed up. They have a culture that is some combination of all centuries the king and queen have been alive. Which is 1200-2000 approx. Lol except poor Cosmo, who's been wearing servant clothes for like a century. Seriously, Cosmo would be so much easier. XD Except I think Kim's too tall to be Cosmo. He's 5'7", Akira's 5'11", then again...Kim's like 5'9" which is smack-dab in the middle-
Ok I am getting WAY TOO AHEAD of myself.
She's not even saying she's going to do it. XD
I'm just......so happy. ;o; Do they really like the people I made up so much to consider something like this? *melts*
