Ohhh... my head is all over the place. I anticipated August to be the month I started plotting, but I've kind of just been fantasizing about plotting while trying to finish a personal video, useless to anybody else, before I get my laptop checked in for repairs. (Which means the program I'd need to make this video would not be available to me afterward, and I'd like to finish it now instead of weeks from now.) I'm not looking forward to asking to share my mom's laptop, which will mean I'm using the computer/internet less on top of lacking most of my tools. I'll have my files, thanks to my external hard-drive, but not all my tools.
And then there's the AIW website that these past few entries have almost exclusively been about. I didn't exactly get burnt out about it, but it's true that I was getting a little discouraged, what with the issues mentioned previously. I also realized we're into the last third of the year (almost) and so many rewrites still need to be done for a novel I wanted revised by December 31st. I told Jenna about this, and obviously it didn't bother her at all, and she even offered to continue chipping at the work still ahead, like our about & history of production page. We still need to do the entire cast page, and then finish the character and crew pages, which still needs a little more writing and quite a few drawings. I told her I'd do drawings in between my other work in the next couple months, and I want to actually go through with that, I just don't know if there's actually time now that I've blown a week of plotting and also have a website to start configuring (for HT)... which will also need drawings.
This was a horrible time to be writing about my creative frustrations. TMI, but I'm sitting here in the bathroom with Stephen Colbert talking in the other room, and I've got about ten minutes before I need to walk out the door and work a double shift. I'm a very responsible adult.

P.S. Birdie had pneumonia for a few days, but he had a speedy recovery and is sitting contently on the table. I had to wrap him in a towel and give him medicine and even his frustrated squeaks were pretty cute. Love that boy. :)
