Writing, and art, are by their nature very solitary, but it indeed is disheartening when you're done and it falls on the floor in an empty room. Trust me, we've been there, over and over again. We've decided this weekend to do no/less journalism, as it's sucking the energy out of creating our own things. We did get a nice reply from an editor, though.

Have a look around for sure what sort of fandom things are happening in your surroundings. Check out the local comic book store, see whether there are any writing/reading/arts groups around. Cast your net wide, but again: draw the line well before line dancing!
