It feels like it's too soon to be updating, but I'm having some...thoughts.

Thinking about putting He's There on hiatus and rounding up 2 or 3 (likely just 2) stories for remainder of Winter story season.
Why? Well... I realized that after this chapter 13, it will have reached my goal of 75 pages, and come to a place that soon after introduces a new situation. I'll need time to think. I had those ideas that I shared, yes, but nothing solid. What I thought would be nice is giving myself a break, since I HAVE been thinking only of and writing only for this story for four months. It's making me a little restless, afterall: not being able to do ANYTHING else... So I'll come back to it. Maybe as soon as March, the start of spring stories.

Now either then or throughout Winter stories, I could take a little time out to plan, and design a more complex plotline, similar to the one I gave Wooden Light. Then by the time I'm back in business, everything feels secure.

Plan? Plan.
I feel bad that the little fanbase that grew for it in the past three months will not be supplied. There were 8 people on alert, and 13 who favorited it. They've grown to mean a lot to me as I continue writing it, because they're excited, and I just want to make them more and more so. But I'd like to believe that when I start updating again, they'll still be there, and enjoy it as it takes off again. :)

What am I going to be doing for alleged Winter stories, you ask?
Actually, you probably don't ask. But anyway, I'm thinking of being a little bit unconventional.

-->I'd like to finish Return to the Palace, as I'm already pretty close to it. After that, I might do a bit of tweaking to make it perfect, and also spend some time making promotional pictures:
a movie poster,
dvd cover & back,
and perhaps throw together a better website.

I guess I'm just really into making this accessable for later, when I might need to demonstrate who I am as a writer and director. This would be a good concept for a scholarship at the Art Institute, or perhaps as part of my profile. Some day I'd really like it to be a movie - I think there are plenty of people with my humor that would enjoy a satirical animated comedy like this. It would be a dream to get it as a tv movie for Adult Swim or something. Anyway....

--> EXTREMELY UNCONVENTIONAL. Work on and maybe get close to finishing The Pooptrix.
I've really been in the mood to fuck around. Sometimes my best writing comes out when I just don't care what I'm doing or where something's going. It allows me to stop taking myself so seriously and focus on how I'm portraying the characters. The Count, Josiah, and Asshole-Guy are all hilarious characters together. And the fact that it's mainly a Sesame Street spoof. I also had great times reading what I've wrote for this story so far in...*sniff* Writer's Workshop. Which is...no longer.

I appreciate it if anybody actually reads these things anymore. Either way, I decided it's okay. I'm really doing it for myself, to get all these thoughts out, and to help me think straight. I also like looking back at the entries. But you know, it's a plus if other people get a benefit out of them.
