It really sucks when it takes forever to fix an object which you really need to use on a daily basis.
The laptop now has a loose DC In-Port, meaning the piece which acknowledges that it's being charged is damaged and needs replacement. A friend suggested a local shop that might even have the spare part, and that way I won't have to send it to Gateway, which is a real motherfucker about shipping, and puts everything on ground, and it would seriously take another month before I had it in my hands, working correctly. I can't handle that sort of thing again. It's so RIDICULOUS.
And if I can't get my laptop back, I have no way to access the snip-its of chapter 24. To even write in a comfortable place where no computer addicts are forcing me to get off because they need to "check something". Chapter 24 is kind of a big deal to me, and it's ending HT's active status. It's the last word, for now.
And don't even get me started on worrying about Wooden Light.
How do I begin planning for this in a week with none of my files?! I not only wrote half of chapter 17, but I had my plot and a lot of other things... True, I have the plotline saved on other computers and it needs to be drastically reworked anyway... Who knows... maybe I'm safe with that.
And HTP... all I have to do is take out a fresh computer paper... oh WAIT, WHAT IS THIS? THE PRINTER IS EMPTY?! NOOO.
