News on the CP2 script...
There are two parts that I'm struggling with. I've reduced the page count to 137, but I'm just... stuck. What I might do is get those two parts done and then post the entire script. That's when you betas come in (hopefully) and read the whole thing and maybe there is something that drags or a smaller scene that you could suggest condensing/tossing out. :D;; Maybe? Possibly? :3

Future sequels...
The chronology for the sequels is probably undergoing some changes. Nothing's certain now so I won't get ahead of myself, but Kate and I agreedthat Crystal Palace 5 will be Akira's Suicide Attempt, as opposed to 9, which is too long of time for him to finally decide he'd like to end his life. There can only be so many movies, and 9 is the maximum I will go with this franchise.

And I was thinking that opposed to being 1/2 done with CP3, we're more like 2/3. It's not me getting tired with it, it's more like I don't want to condense a bunch of great stuff when the length we're at now (122 pages) is what an acceptable script is at full. I'm probably gonna have an uncut long version and a presentable version, though. Still, I want to keep as much as I can, which means not over-producing. Anything left in our system can just as easily transfer to CP4, after all! We'll just have to be more intense from here on and get to the climax, which is feasible since Akira just got done drunkenly dancing to Britney Spears.

In the intermission between CP3 and CP4, I'll make sure there are more solid plans for the following movies. Then I can reserve a community name for CP5! Wowsers. I still don't know when CP3 will be finished. I'm predicting it may end at part 15, but it's just so hard to tell. I'm still all pumped over part 9, I might ask if soon we can do 10, since the scene was cliff-hung. :P

I don't realize how bland my updates are about this stuff until after I read it.
I should really do a post talking about something besides "how it goes".

I used to drink this a lot when I was working on He's There last fall... it's so so SO nostalgic, it drives me nuts. I kind of picture Lily really liking it, in fact, I may have mentioned it in chapter 24, which I was working on.

I really really miss this story. I sometimes hate that I'm kind of a slow novel-writer, heheheh. There was just something really magical about writing it that was different than any other story. I think it was because their world was so tangible, that everything I did felt connected. And I chose to write it in a way that sounded like your friend was telling you what was happening to her. So it always just seemed like I had this friend that was doing the freakiest shit ever (in my opinion) and meeting this...this Phantom! And it's like... what's gonna happen next?!/what are you doing?!/who is this guy?! And I loved feedback from Raye. She said it was the kind of book that made you hate the Phantom, but in this infatuated attracted way which makes no sense at all and you just can't put it down. I really enjoyed her comments...

Yeah, I just was thinking about that. It's good tea.
I will try to shoot for late summer. But who knows. Tilly & Jo is gonna be a big thing if I actually go through with it.
