So starting about a week ago I have been transferring the eight parts of Crystal Palace 4 to a Celtx document. I anticipated that they would be 120pages, but after reading it through, laughing a lot, and cutting out little bits here and there, I successfully brought the count to 95pgs.
Right now, I'm going to give myself room to write a 150pg script and then trim it down, because I don't want to rush the ending. I'm noticing what's wrong with the plot: there isn't a clear climax building. We don't see Crystallina's vendetta against Cosmo taking a toll, or feel a greater sense that he might just need a little shove before he takes it out on her.
I'm excited to go from here, though. I already pictured the very next scene of Cosmo The Morning After cooking breakfast in nothing but an apron and crawling back to bed, where he massages Kate's feet and calls her his Queen. Also, Akira's' about to break out of rehab, so there's that.
LJ saved only a part of my entry after the site abruptly stopped working on the network I was hooked up to, so I have no idea what else I was writing, so I'll end it there? I'm not sure what else to say besides I might go off and write when I get home, and I'm excited to think that I will meet two significant goals of the year: finishing HT and CP4.
