I was like "I should post more of the entries I was planning first", but then I was like "no... I've had this sitting around, and it's done, and I feel like sharing."

My ice apparitions are all old, like Akira and Cosmo are in their 200's, so I just casually throw out that Cosmo has been watching over Akira the past century, and I wanted to illustrate what that looked like at first vs. what it looks like in the story timeframe.




Isn't that precious? ;0; I for one find snotty little pre-pubescent Akira and bright-eyed "still thinks he's going to have a positive impact on his life" Cosmo to be precious.

I mean actually--- nah, I'm not gonna talk about their relationship. I will post the story and anyone who's curious can find out. But it's an evolving relationship just as evolving as who sees over the other's head.

You have to look at the picture really up close to see that on the right side I've given him more wrinkles and shadows, but I think it's still clear that I'm running with a theme of "Cosmo does not seem to change", or he does not seem to change much besides a faded sense of self, faded autonomy and optimism -- and so he seems Other, and so he seems not particularly real and fleshed out to his master, and can't correct that because he's a servant anyway and must conform to the same things.

But, of course, ironically, there is so much going on in that head of his.

(And also, he is like, super expressive and has his own style once he's not a servant anymore in the spinoffs we wrote, while Akira like doesn't know what to do with himself??? lol)
