Well, I finally asked my friend Chris, who was one person I really had in mind to play The Phantom for the photoshoot.

So far, I'm hoping to shoot
1.) A collection of pictures of The Phantom and Lily, mainly in the dark with one light source.
2.) Promotional, "artistic" sort of stuff that I might use for a future layout or poster, or, heck, maybe even book sleeve. (An idea I'm having right now is having Lily's abdomen in front with the Phantom's hands coming from darkness over her front, but shhh.)
3.) Some scenes from the story; Lily meeting Giry, Lily and Mariam screwing around, the Mad Hatter scene, etc...

I'm playing Lily
Chris is The Phantom
Kylie is Madame Giry/Paulina
and I'm hoping Kate is Mariam, and also will help with shooting.

I'd also like to use the school theater if at all possible.
If not, I at least need a large room where us and the camera-person can fit.
I'd also like to use our school, period. For the classroom setting.
I might also use my backyard. Nothing to be picky about, there.

I'm worried most about the lighting. I'd like to have illuminated people in mostly black. I'll probably have to plug a lamp in and shine it on them from a distance. *shrug* I'm sure there are photography techniques online.

Anyway, Chris says he can do it about two weeks from now, and I hope it's possible. We'll see?...
