I had an interesting conversation with Greg the other night. One part of it involved his schizophrenia and he talked to me about how he thinks it's a benefit of sorts because he hallucinates and hears things that help him understand something about himself or his current problems. This also stemmed something about taking acid and seeing himself talking through the voice of God in a mirror.

But anyway, he mentioned that having delusions also helps him read people's minds, by hearing their voice say thoughts even if they aren't doing anything. I tried to reply with the fact that such a thought is part of a delusion, but he wasn't so sure.

Just thought it was interesting. You can even understand you have schizophrenia and the line between that and reality isn't complete.

Or is it? I don't know. I'm just a person.
