If you couldn't tell, the mp3 playing in the background of the enter page is the same eerie remix I made of the Crystal Palace music used on the original (still down) website. I thought that it worked, I guess, and this time actual people might actually hear it.
Aghhh I'm so excited... it hurts having to wait any longer...
I've done all of the profiles, now the only illustrations left are some little things in the layout banner, one of Akira and I with the car, as well as Cosmo in the cage. I also did a doodle of a group of penguins that help out later on... it seemed easy enough to copy into the computer. I need these because 1. It's fun showing scenes. 2. They add more detail to the site and draw people in to the story.
When these are over with, it's all about making every part of the layout smooth and appealing, and putting the illustrations along with the text. I think the updates page is going to have a side where the cute little penguins fade in, like they're all waiting for updates or something. XD But anyway, that's what I've been doing this morning because I'm having a hard time finding angles that work for these two scenes and I'm hoping it'll just come to me soon.
Anyway... I can sense that things will be coming together in the next week or so and I'm thrilled because (other than the site being up), Kate and I can go back to CP3 and truthfully we have already started part 9, it's just my turn and I'm having trouble doing Cosmo's song about infidelity...XD And ALSO, when that site is done, I will have time to start writing T&J. I'm practically all set to do that. The website layout I was thinking about is something that will happen in time, I'm trying not to urge myself into doing that sooner than I feel like it.
