CP3's End
I just finished part 12 and it's sinking in how close I am to finishing this movie!  I've been telling myself it'd be completely reasonable to expect it done in a month by doing the parts weekly, so now, with three more parts, the deadline is three weeks. I even have a new illustration planned. I'm really excited about the end... I hope there's some way I can convince Kate to do at least the last part with me.

Afterward, we have to revise it a little and add two scenes that we forgot to put in, even though they were really funny and I don't see how we forgot! It won't be a huge revision, though, as aware as we are that the script is WAY TOO LONG. I estimate 175 pages, Times New Roman. It's also not in full script form. Isn't that fun? A whole other movie that needs to be painstakingly converted, and will be even longer in Courier font, so consequently will need to have a lot of scenes cut to be within script length standards.

The good news is Crystal Palace 3 really doesn't need to be converted into a real script. It's a sequel to an idea that hasn't even had anything happen with it yet. I made CP2 into a script because it had its capability of being presented, but CP3 is like that other story tucked away, so it can stay in its nice lengthy semi-script form with all the scenes we ever thought up and I'm happy about that. :) Although I should add if anything had happened with CP2, people would be more flexible with script length when it came to sequels. It's just not smart to expect your first movie'll be allowed to be as long as you want.

I was going to open the [livejournal.com profile] crystalpalace3 community up for readers to make posts, but unfortunately, the two years we have worked on it, it never did get any sort of following. We don't even get comments. lol Kate said it's very unfitting that it doesn't get attention and she's proud of it. I'd have to agree. ;)

So... what comes afterward? Well, there's its first website, but I'm comfortable taking that real slow-like. I've got a lot of other things on my plate, and CP3 has next to zero fans, so there's no use hurrying! It means more to Kate and I to start CP4 anyway. I'll let the illustrations accumulate. All my website energy should be going to the Adventures in Wonderland site anyway!

♥,
Bow
