WOODEN LIGHT
Well, it's pretty much mid-July and I still haven't popped out another chapter of Wooden "Shit". I'm kind of annoyed with it right now, honestly. Schizophrenia is just a pain in the ass to have to keep remembering when you make your character do /anything/, even pour a glass of water. I feel like a thousand stage lights are falling on me, and sometimes when I write I start getting "hot" and "sweaty" and feel like everyone's watching my every move, waiting for me to mess up.

Okay uh...I posted two chapters, and still haven't heard anything from any readers. And I still want suggestions for how to go about the rest of the trip, depending on what people think is interesting. So please? Read and hook me up with some answers?
Other than that, it's going fine. I keep thinking about them. Like random facts about them to add, and stuff for them to do. Some way to add more of a message and meaning to everything. Bleh. :P But I've written about 14 pages since summer started. Almost halfway to my goal.
RETURN TO THE PALACE
I finished act 18 and 19. But I haven't gotten to Roger yet. I haven't really been much in the mood to write this either.
In other news!
When summer ends, which is in...October, and school starts, I will be putting all three of these on hiatus. Even Wooden Light which I've never done before. But I really think it's another story's turn, particularly The Staircase.
Yesterday, in California, I was staring at this grandfather clock and immediately (I know this sounds so odd!) I knew the meaning of the book, and the message, and how to tie together this big quest/adventure. I'd really like to be able to finish this story sooner or later. Then I can drastically edit it because it needs it BAD.
I also was rereading parts of He's There, and I just...enjoyed it. XD I liked the free writing style and the humor. And the little things that show how Lily's life is changing now that she's involved with some masked guy that just showed up and decided they needed to roleplay POTO. XD;
I've also been totally thinking about Crystal Palace. I feel like I've been writing things a lot better, and I've been fixing excerpts from four years ago. It feels like it /may/ be about time just to /start/ it. Do a few chapters. Then even put it on hiatus again. But at least have a start.
So the three stories for Autumn will be The Staircase, Crystal Palace, and He's There, likely.
I like breaking them up for seasons. ^^ Three at a time keeps me focused, and then after a season goes by, I can start fresh with other ideas. Yay!
I feel like I'm writing this for myself, but oh well.
