Stories are like children. You have to love all of them equally and spend enough time with each so they'll grow up into nice well-rounded adults. But I haven't been doing that, and I'm not terribly ashamed because I've still been working hard, I just think it's getting towards that time to let a story that's had the spotlight for 6 months come back to the sidelines.

He's There has had a splendid run. What I've done for it in these short 6 months is more than I've ever done for any other story. But when you have so many other projects that remind you they need work too, you can only keep up with that for so long... I like the story but at the same time it's getting tiresome to update. Not because nothing interesting is happening, I've just been thinking of this idea for a while, and feel that 1.) I'd like to pick something up and have that refreshed feeling 2.) I'd like to come back to this when it will be refreshing again.

But if I need a break, it'll last two months.
After that it's summer. Can't write it in summer, because I write Tilly & Jo, and Crystal Palace III w/ Kate.

Me personally, it's kind of sad, but I'm relatively okay with putting He's There down for 5 months. I just worry about things like if its readers will ditch the story, forget about it, hate me for it... >< And I've been trying to pretend everything's hunky-dory besides being a little busy, but it's not. I've felt for a week or so now that it's just time, you know? It's time.

>_<;
