Good news, everybody!

With the remaining plot planned (and on a pretty small document), and I would say 80% finished, I'm proud to announce that very unexpectedly, Kate and I have devised the third Crystal Palace movie, sequel to Return to the Palace. (For those out in the blue, she's my best buddy in the world. The CP sequel is both of ours.)

Being one of my favorite groups of characters,
there've been three adaptations of them and their setting, chronologically:

1. Crystal Palace (1) - loose fanfiction of Paper Mario, the "epic". A full idea still unwritten.

2. The Adventures of Akira & Jennifer - silly nonsense comic, half Paper Mario, involving Crystal Palace's ideas/etc. Got to chapter 3 of 8, may be revived in the future.

3. Return to the Palace - mock-Disney parody of both its predecessors, 20 years in the future. We made up Crystallina as our time-traveling alleged daughter for TAOAAJ and liked her so much we thought she should have her own story. 95 pages out of a predicted 120.

Anyway, despite it being a parody of Crystal Palace's original characters and setting, we feel that Return to the Palace really has a mind of its own. It could technically occure in the same universe as the comic, but it's just...it's own thing! We just never expected that it would be more than one silly sequel of my original story.

And it's not that we had never planned for it. XD Crystal Palace parodies go up as far as a NINTH MOVIE. I don't remember all the titles right now, but four years ago, Kate and I actually came up with these.

Crystal Palace IV :: Oh God!
Crystal Palace V :: can't remember.
Crystal Palace VI :: The Anus Family
Crystal Palace VII :: The Return of Roger and his Penis
Crystal Palace VIII :: can't remember either!
Crystal Palace IX :: Akira's Suicide Attempt

Now, these were JOKES. They don't even work anymore. For one, the Anus Family already exists, Roger dies, and there's no way, among this chaos, that it would take 9 movies for Akira to finally try killing himself. XD But enough of that. What I'm getting at is that we forgot about these movies. Crystal Palace II :: RttP was the only one we really thought up. Plus, despite the idea clearly being both of ours, I was the one writing it all down. And I've been writing it for like a year and a half. XD So obviously, to me, I really wasn't thinking "oh yeah, and after this will be this and after this will be that". There was one and that was big enough to deal with.

But now that RttP is almost done, we just did some talking and were like "you know, there really oughta be another. These are fun." So we found the handy-dandy list, saw the next in line, already had small ideas written down for it, and got to serious brain-storming last night. XD We have like. The best idea. It might even be funnier than RttP. What's best is that Kate says she will actually write acts with me. And let me tell you, once you read her stuff, you probably will never wanna go back to me. XD She's brilliant at comedy. She knows Akira and Cosmo and everybody just as well as I do. <3

When RttP is done and I edit it and get out all the promotional pictures and posters (might even print one at Kinko's for Kate and I, yeah I know, I'm such a self-involved jerk), I'll release news of the trilogy.

But for all of you lovely readers (4 of you) PL, Sara, SMZR, and SPW XD, and whoever comes by, I will give away some little details early.
