Yesterday, I also came across some handwritten excerpts from a couple years ago. They made me remember that I had totally dropped the story and stopped considering that it could very well be revised/continued!! It could be something for later this year, really... I mean for now I'm busy, and in autumn, it's back to He's There...maybe in winter? (just a thought)
Anyway,
I recall that S.S. Flavion strangely made me feel the same kind of freedom and excitement as Tilly & Jo. It just has so many options and so many characters. Woohoo! These lines amused me:
He had an almost creepy expression when I told him I was a writer.
...And a little ways down the railing is a plump purple-haired bastard in a red coat.
If only you could see his nose! It's the longest one by God I've ever been cursed to lay eyes upon.
It made me wonder how safe I was on this ship, after all, he'd been staring mischievously towards my direction since I'd entered the room.
"Fancy that, a paper cut from my own diary."
