Obviously, before the shooting (hopefully in a week?) I really needed to understand what I wanted the composition to be and how I could accomplish that. So I spent the better part of an hour in the darkness of my bathroom, playing around with chairs and flashlights. And yarn, and scissors, and my mom's tax box as ways to sturdy my lighting and shooting surface. XD
Obviously, since I had no crew, and no way to shoot myself, I worked out the kinks using a smaller scale. My model was my very beautiful Chinese porcelain doll that happens to look a lot like Lady Bow.
For once, I walked away thinking "I've got it figured out", and took some really nice pictures. I'll be posting one or two on Deviant Art, actually.
Pictures are large to keep details, sorry.

For He's There, I prefer not as much saturation:

I'd like Lily and the Phantom to be in a corner shot like this, with the lights.

My mom passed by and thought the birds should get their picture taken. X3

I put on some make-shift Phantom gear (including the mask we're going to use!) to try out what that'd look like. Since this is a smaller scale, the lighting does nothing for me. During the actual shoot, it'll likely be at night, in the guest room, with someone standing on the bed by us, holding up my desk lamp. Or a couple of flashlights.

Hello again!

I put my hand into the light and had a cool idea:

I could combine a picture of me as Lily and this hand, as if it's coming out of the mirror towards me.
Anyway, as I said, really happy with it. Chris and I are gonna be HOT. XD
