I guess I can't really ask if this is normal to anyone I know is reading my journal because they're not exactly in the same boat, but every blue moon I totally look myself up on google. XD But (and I know this is a shocker!~) I haven't really been linked or had a story suggested to anybody else -- EXCEPT my comics. I've been plugged for Huggle the Puppet (with some commentary on the SAW forums several years ago when I frequented it), and similarly, Teller's Waffles has had its mentionings on the P&T forum and was also pimped on this iTricks.com podcast.

It's cool, it really is, but I do find it a little funny that it has only been for comics, something if I went into professionally, I'd walk out of running a frying pan into my face. I really really really am a recreational drawer, and I can only draw if I feel like it will turn out well and have a subject I'm dying to see visually articulated. (if that phrase existed)

I miss both Teller's Waffles AND Huggle the Puppet though. That time this year where I was supposed to make a whole new chapter for HTP never ended up happening, but I still have the ideas for the traditional-to-digital coloring transformation and all that jazz.

Let's face it... this year has been a bad year... just... nothing got done except for that Crystal Palace 2 site - and that was a lot of work. But I'm not satisfied with it as a whole year's portfolio in the slightest. I used to write so freaking much. And I used to say stuff like "I'm working hard now because I won't have time to be this inspired later on" and I was right.

Yeah yeah, all I do is bitch about this. I'm sorry. I'm trying to get my shit together. I just wish it weren't already November.
